TMK sold Kazakhstan division in 2023

MOSCOW. Feb 29 (Interfax) - Russian pipe maker TMK sold its Kazakhstan division TMK-Kaztrubprom LLP in August 2023, TNK said in a report.

Profit from the sale was 89 million rubles.

TMK acquired the asset in 2008. Kaztrubprom is a state-of-the art enterprise capable of producing 35,000 tonnes of 60-178 mm well tubing and casing pipes per year which are supplied to consumers in the CIS countries and neighboring countries.

Commenting on the sale, TMK told Interfax that "the company is focusing on developing assets in its key market, in Russia."
