Russian oil companies interested in developing oil fields in Iran, studying conditions - Novak
MOSCOW. Feb 29 (Interfax) - Russian oil companies are interested in obtaining licenses to develop fields in Iran and are studying the conditions necessary to enter these projects, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak told reporters.
He noted that it is too early to talk about specific dates.
"As soon as agreements are reached, commercial and structural issues will be studied. These are commercial projects, after all. Companies first consider the conditions for the provision of plots for contract, and so on, as well as what legislative norms and acts are in force in the country that will require investments," Novak said.
