Transneft, Iran to cooperate on pipeline transport

TEHRAN. Feb 29 (Interfax) - Russian oil pipeline monopoly Transneft has signed a memorandum of understanding on technological cooperation and implementation of joint projects with Iran's Research and Technology Ministry.

The parties will conduct a preliminary analysis of possibilities for cooperation in the area of crude oil and oil product transportation, the Iranian government said on its Telegram channel.

Transneft subsidiary Transneft-Diascan, a leading provider of oil pipeline and tank farm diagnostics and monitoring services, worked on inline diagnostics for the Iranian Offshore Oil Company with Dubai's Rouge Pipeline Services from 2015 to 2020.
