Ukrhydroenergo transfers UAH 1.75 bln in dividends for 2023 in advance
MOSCOW. Feb 28 (Interfax) - The Ukrhydroenergo company has transferred to the state budget UAH 1.75 billion in dividends as an advance payment based on the results of economic activity in 2023, the Ukrainian media reported citing the company's statement on social media.
The company paid dividends to implement the government's executive order dated February 27, it said. According the order, the company had to ensure the advance transfer to the state budget of at least 50% of annual profit-based dividends, which are calculated based on the projected results of financial and economic activity in 2023.
It was reported earlier that the government executive order envisaged that in February six joint-stock companies should transfer to the state budget at least 50% of the annual dividends per the public stake based on the economic results of 2023. These are Naftogaz of Ukraine, Ukrainian Railways, Ukroboronprom, Ukrhydroenergo, Ukrainian Energy Machines, Nizhne-Dnestrovskaya HPP, and Ukrainian Defense Industry.
This will ensure the state budget revenues at UAH 3 billion in February.
