Belgian development agency ENABEL to join in Ukrainian reconstruction projects
MOSCOW. Feb 28 (Interfax) - The Belgian development agency ENABEL of the country's federal government intends to join in critical and social infrastructure reconstruction projects in Ukraine and will open offices in Kiev and Kharkov, Ukrainian media reported, citing the Ukrainian Restoration Ministry press service.
"The ministry's team had a meeting with Belgian Minister of Development Cooperation and of Major Cities Caroline Gennez and head of the Belgian development agency ENABEL Jean Van Wetter. The parties agreed to launch critical and social infrastructure restoration projects in March," the ministry said in a statement issued following the meeting.
The parties also discussed the possible cooperation in the joint HOPE project with the World Bank to rebuild damaged housing.
