Kiev reports exporting 90% of agricultural products via Black Sea

MOSCOW. Feb 28 (Interfax) - Ninety percent of Ukrainian agrarian products are exported via the Black Sea, Ukrainian media cited First Deputy Agrarian Policy and Food Minister Taras Vysotsky as saying in online greetings to participants in the Black Sea Grain. Europe-2024 conference in Prague.

Ukraine exported 5 million tonnes of grain from Odessa, 1 million tonnes by the Danube, and 1 million tonnes by the land corridor via European neighbors in December 2023, Vysotsky said.

"Ukrainian agrarians collected a large harvest of over 70 million tonnes of grain and legumes and exports neared $22 billion in 2023," he said.

Ukraine achieved the impressive results thanks to the support of international partners and the beginning of exports from Greater Odessa ports, Vysotsky said.
