Kiev reports another incident with agrarian products at Polish border

MOSCOW. Feb 26 (Interfax) - Unknown persons damaged freight cars with beans at the Ukrainian-Polish border on Saturday, Ukrainian media said, citing the Restoration Ministry's press service.

"The systematic destruction of Ukrainian agricultural products is akin to intentional sabotage. We call on Polish law enforcement agencies to give an immediate response," Deputy Prime Minister, Restoration Minister Alexander Kubrakov said in comment on the incident.

Polish police are checking the reported soybean spillage from a train from Ukraine parked on the track in Dorohusk, Ukrainian media said with the reference to RMF24.

"Five tonnes of Ukrainian soybeans spilled from a car on the sidetrack in Dorohusk in Lublin Voivodeship. The police are investigating circumstances of the incident," the report said.

As RMF24 was told at the Chelm Main Municipal Police Directorate, a Ukrainian train of about 80 cars entered Poland two days ago and is awaiting customs clearance. The spillage was reported to the police in the morning. The police examined the area, interviewed witnesses and prepared the case for transfer to the prosecution office. The Chelm police believe that the incident is "hardly connected to the farmers' protest."

As reported, Kubrakov urged Police law enforcers on Saturday to rapidly respond to the incident with Ukrainian agricultural products at the Dorohusk rail station.
