Australia imposes sanctions on 3 Belarusian enterprises

MINSK. Feb 26 (Interfax) - Australia has imposed additional sanctions on Belarusian enterprises and citizens, the Australian Foreign Ministry said on Saturday.

The restrictions apply to "targets involved in Russia's procurement networks in Belarus, Iran and North Korea," the ministry said.

Three Belarusian companies - Gorizont Holding, Volatavto and Planar - have been sanctioned.

Financial sanctions and a travel ban were imposed on Belarusian Red Cross Society Secretary-General Dmitry Shevtsov and Belarusian Railways CEO Vladimir Morozov, the statement said.
