Russian, S. African FMs hold talks on G20 ministerial meeting sidelines

RIO DE JANEIRO. Feb 22 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has started a meeting with his South African counterpart Naledi Pandor on the sidelines of the Group of 20 foreign ministers' meeting in Rio de Janeiro.

The second workday started at the event.

Lavrov has already had time to meet with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.

Lavrov held a number of bilateral talks, in particular with Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira, whose country chairs the G20, as well as with the foreign ministers of Mexico, Egypt, Bolivia, and Paraguay on Wednesday.
