Armenia establishes defense attache position at mission to NATO

YEREVAN. Feb 15 (Interfax) - Armenia has established defense attache positions at its missions to NATO, the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).

The decision was made at a government meeting on Thursday.

Defense attaches would operate at the Armenian mission to the NATO Brussels headquarters, the Armenian mission to the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe headquartered in Mons, and the Armenian mission to the OSCE Vienna headquarters, Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan said at the meeting.

The position of the Armenian military representative at the mission to NATO has been abolished.
