Armenian FM, NATO special envoy discuss stronger Armenia-NATO partnership, S. Caucasus
YEREVAN. Feb 14 (Interfax) - Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and NATO Secretary General's Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia Javier Colomina have discussed fostering Armenia-NATO partnership at a meeting in Brussels, the Armenian Foreign Ministry's press service said.
"Efforts to further strengthen Armenia-NATO partnership were discussed," the press service said.
It is noted that Mirzoyan and Colomina discussed the ongoing processes in the South Caucasus, and "attempts to destabilize the situation."
In late January, Colomina said that NATO backed Armenia's shift in foreign and defense policy, hoping that the alliance and Yerevan will approve an individually tailored partnership program in the coming weeks.
