Rostelecom planning IPO for one of its subsidiaries in 2024, seeking to sell small stake - CEO
MOSCOW. Feb 13 (Interfax) - Rostelecom is planning to hold an IPO for one of its subsidiaries in 2024, company CEO Mikhail Oseevsky told reporters.
When presenting its strategy in April 2021, Rostelecom announced plans to solicit strategic partners or conduct an IPO for several key business areas, including data centers and cloud services, information security, digital medicine, and a number of other areas.
Oseevsky on Tuesday said that there are plans to list one of the companies this year.
"We have plans to conduct an IPO for one of the companies this year," Oseevsky told reporters on the sidelines of the Digital Transformation Forum as part of Russian Business Week.
Oseevsky has neither specified the name of the company nor more specific terms and conditions of the IPO.
Oseevsky said that there are plans to sell a small stake. "We just want to test investor appetite," he said.
