Naftogaz paid UAH 6.1 bln tax for Jan

MOSCOW. Feb 13 (Interfax) - Naftogaz Group paid UAH 5.6 billion in tax to the state budget for January.

Ukrainian media reported, citing a statement posted on the Naftogaz website, that "8.5% of all tax paid into the state budget for January 2024 was tax paid by the Naftogaz Group, that is, UAH 5.6 billion."

Another UAH 500 million was paid into local budgets.

"The Naftogaz group remains one of the largest taxpayers in Ukraine and a reliable support for the treasury. Overall, we paid UAH 6.1 billion in tax to the country's consolidated budget in the 31 days of January 2024," Naftogaz head Alexei Chernyshov was quoted as saying.

Naftogaz paid UAH 90.2 billion tax, including UAH 83.4 billion to the state budget and UAH 6.8 billion to local budgets, in 2023.
