Azerbaijani CEC sums up presidential election results, declares Aliyev winner

BAKU. Feb 11 (Interfax) - The Azerbaijani Central Elections Commission (CEC) has summed up the results of the early presidential election of February 7, 2024, and declared Ilham Aliyev the winner with 92.12% of the vote.

The CEC made the decision on Sunday after discussing the outcome of the presidential election, and submitted a related protocol and documents to the Constitutional Court.

The CEC estimated voter turnout at 76.43%.

The CEC decided to approve the protocol on the results of the early presidential election and to submit it to the Constitutional Court together with corresponding documents.
