Kazakhstan exceeds OPEC+ quota by 92,000 bpd in January - S&P

ALMATY. Feb 9 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan produced 1.56 million barrels of oil per day in January 2024, S&P Global Commodity Insights said in a review, citing Platts data.

Kazakhstan had an oil output quota of 1.468 million bpd under the OPEC+ deal in January, thus the country exceeded the OPEC+ quota by 92,000 bpd in January, S&P Global Commodity Insights said.

Kazakhstan's Energy Ministry has not yet provided data on oil production in the country for January 2024.
