Azerbaijan lags OPEC+ quota by 71,000 bpd in January - S&P

BAKU. Feb 9 (Interfax) - Azerbaijan produced 480,000 barrels of oil per day in January 2024, S&P Global Commodity Insights said in a review, citing Platts data.

Azerbaijan has an oil production quota of 551,000 bpd under the OPEC+ deal for 2024, thus the country lagged the OPEC+ quota by 71,000 bpd in January, S&P Global Commodity Insights said.

Azerbaijan's Energy Ministry has not yet provided data on oil production in the country for January 2024.
