Euroins Ukraine increases premiums 20.4%, payments 41.5% in 2023

MOSCOW. Feb 8 (Interfax) - The Euroins Ukraine insurance company based in Kiev saw growth in premiums paid by 20.4% to UAH 565 million in 2023 compared to 2022, Ukrainian media reported with reference to the company's statement.

The company concluded over 662,000 insurance contracts in 2023, or 17% more than in 2022.

The company saw highest growth in premiums paid on full comprehensive vehicle insurance (CASCO) policies (+24.3%, or UAH 69.737 million), voluntary health insurance (+109.9%, or UAH 56.285 million), accident insurance (+24.4%, or UAH 2.528 million), and third party liability vehicle insurance (+2.6%, or UAH 305,000).

The volume of insurance indemnity paid by the company in 2023 grew 41.5% to UAH 265.343 million.
