S7 to launch flights between Vladivostok and Shanghai as of April 25
VLADIVOSTOK. Feb 8 (Interfax) - S7 Airlines plans to begin operating regular direct flights between Vladivostok and Shanghai beginning on April 25, the airline said in a statement posted on its website.
Flights will operate twice per week on Airbus A320 aircraft, and travel time will be 3 hours 15 minutes.
As previously reported, China's Juneyao Airlines canceled launching charter flights between Shanghai and Vladivostok as had been planned for early February owing to low ticket sales.
There are currently no flights between Vladivostok and Shanghai.
S7 is Russia's largest private aviation group, founded by Vladislav Filev and Natalia Fileva.
