Ukrainian Railways imposes convention on freight shipping to Moldova, Romania across Basarabeasca border checkpoint

MOSCOW. Feb 8 (Interfax) - Ukrainian Railways has imposed convention restrictions on freight shipping to Moldova and Romania across the Basarabeasca border checkpoint.

"It is prohibited to accept carriages for transportation, with the destinations of CFM (Moldovan Railways) and transit through CFM. Shipping in carriages belonging to Russian Railways, Belarusian Railways inventory fleet, leased ones, and our own," Ukrainian media quoted the Ukrainian Railways website as saying.

The restriction applies to all shipments for all consignees.
