IMF forecasts Azerbaijan's GDP to grow 2.3% per year in 2024-2028, over 2.4% by 2032

BAKU. Feb 8 (Interfax) - The International Monetary Fund forecasts average annual growth of 2.3% in Azerbaijan's GDP in 2024-2028, the IMF said in a report following consultations with the country's authorities held in November 2023.

The IMF projects average annual growth in the country's GDP to exceed 2.4% in 2029-2032.

The IMF's baseline scenario envisages growth of 2.4% per year in the country's GDP in 2029-2030 and an acceleration to growth of 2.5% per year in 2031-2032.

Azerbaijan's GDP rose 1.1% in 2023.
