Armenian PM, U.S. ambassador discuss strategic dialogue - Armenian govt
YEREVAN. Feb 6 (Interfax) - Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and United States Ambassador Kristina Kvien discussed steps to promote relations between Yerevan and Washington at a meeting on Tuesday.
"The prime minister highlighted the importance of consistently developing cooperation between Armenia and the U.S. and emphasized the U.S.' support in efficiently implementing democratic reforms in Armenia. Nikol Pashinyan noted that the Armenian government highly values the U.S.' efforts in the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process and steps aimed at achieving stability in the region," the Armenian government said.
Pashinyan and Kvien "discussed matters related to deepening bilateral cooperation in various fields and a strategic dialogue between Armenia and the U.S.," it said.
"They exchanged opinions on processes ongoing in the South Caucasus, options for unblocking regional infrastructure, and the Armenian government's Crossroads of Peace project," it said.
