Kazakhstan's airports boost passenger traffic 23% in 2023

ASTANA. Feb 6 (Interfax) - The airports of Kazakhstan served over 26 million passengers in 2023, the Ministry of Transport said in a press release.

This is a 23% increase versus 2022, when overall passenger traffic totaled 21.1 million people.

In 2023, Kazakhstan-based airlines carried 13.3 million passengers, which is 21% more than in the previous year.

By the close of 2023, as many as 484 flights were operating weekly from Kazakhstan to 86 international destinations in 27 countries.
