Azerbaijan cuts associated gas production 2.2% in 2023

BAKU. Feb 2 (Interfax) - Azerbaijan reduced associated petroleum gas production 2.2% in 2023 to 15.086 billion cubic meters, the State Statistics Committee told Interfax.

The total included 3.565 bcm of saleable gas, down 15.7%.

Associated gas accounted for 31.1% of Azerbaijan's total gas production. The remaining 68.9% was natural gas, production of which rose 6.7% to 33.411 bcm.

Overall gas production, including natural gas and APG, grew 3.8% to 48.497 bcm in 2023, with saleable gas rising 4.2% to 36.414 bcm.
