BRUSSELS. Feb 1 (Interfax) - The Council of Europe will provide Ukraine with up to 50 billion euros in macro-financial assistance in 2024-2027, the Council of Europe said in a statement released following the summit of the leaders of the European Union's member states.

"For the period 2024-2027, the sum of the overall resources [...] will not exceed 50 billion," the document said.

"Potential revenues could be generated under the relevant union legal acts, concerning the use of extraordinary revenues held by private entities stemming directly from the immobilized Central Bank of Russia assets," it said.

Council of Europe President Charles Michel earlier said on the X social network that all the leaders of the EU member states had agreed to provide macro-financial assistance to Kiev.
