Azerbaijan extends zeroing of customs duties on jet fuel imports until 2025

BAKU. Feb 1 (Interfax) - Azerbaijan's government has extended until December 31, 2024, the period of zero customs duties on importing jet fuel, the Cabinet of Ministers told Interfax.

The corresponding resolution was passed on January 31, and the decision comes into force after 30 days.

The government exempted imports of jet fuel from customs duties on December 30, 2022, with the exemption intended to expire on December 31, 2023.

Another government resolution has extended until December 31, 2024, the excise tax rate on imports of TS-1 jet fuel at 1 manat ($0.59) per tonne, and other jet fuel at 1 manat per tonne. The resolution also comes into force after 30 days.
