Ukrainian PM discusses financial support for Kiev with G7 ambassadors

MOSCOW. Feb 1 (Interfax) - Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal has met with the ambassadors from the Group of Seven (G7) countries.

"Discussed the continuation of uninterrupted financial support for Ukraine. This is vital for preserving the macroeconomic situation. For its part, our government is implementing reforms essential for enhancing economic resilience," Ukrainian media quoted Shmygal as saying on his social account.

He also thanked Japan for its successful presidency of the G7, "full of important and timely decisions in support of Ukraine."

"I also congratulated Italy on taking over the presidency. We expect the continuation of a productive and constructive conversation with the G7 countries," he said.
