Imports of Russian gold to Hong Kong surge 5-fold to 88 tonnes in 2023

MOSCOW. Feb 1 (Interfax) - Imports of Russian gold to Hong Kong surged 5-fold to 88.1 tonnes in 2023, totaling 43.6 billion Hong Kong dollars ($5.6 billion), the Hong Kong government's statistics department said in a statement.

Chinese customs statistics indicate that imports of Russian gold to the country's main territory totaled $321 million in 2023.
