Russian PM paying working visit to Kazakhstan

ALMATY. Feb 1 (Interfax) - Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has arrived in Kazakhstan, where he will attend a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council.

On Thursday, he is expected to meet with Akylbek Japarov, prime minister of Kyrgyzstan and head of the Kyrgyz presidential administration, and Kazakh Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov.

The Eurasian Intergovernmental Council meeting will be held on Friday to discuss Eurasian integration matters, including the functioning of the internal market of the Eurasian Economic Union, joint projects in the transport sphere, and e-commerce development.

On the same day, Mishustin will speak at a plenary session of the Digital Almaty 2024 international digital forum.
