Russian PM Mishustin appoints new deputy director of Federal Air Transport Agency

MOSCOW. Jan 31 (Interfax) - Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree appointing Andrei Potemkin as deputy head of the Federal Air Transport Agency.

"To appoint Andrey Aleksandrovich Potemkin as deputy head of the Federal Air Transport Agency," the document says.

Open data show that someone with the same full name previously held the post of deputy general director - development director of Aviatelecominvest LLC, whose website says it was created in 2018 "to implement large-scale projects in the field of air transport digitalization and modernization of aircraft flight support facilities." One of its projects is the expansion of the multi-position surveillance system of the St. Petersburg EU Air Traffic Management zone.

Since September last year, the Federal Air Transport Agency has been headed by Dmitry Yadrov, who took over from Alexander Neradko. The agency's website says that Yadrov currently has two deputies, Natalya Andrianova and Andrei Dobryakov.
