Russia exported agricultural products worth 3.9 trln rubles in 2023, a record year - Mishustin

MOSCOW. Jan 30 (Interfax) - Russia exported agricultural products worth almost 3.9 trillion rubles in 2023, a record for the industry, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a strategic session on Tuesday in Moscow.

"Moreover, the share of shipments to friendly countries is close to 90%," he said.

The value of concessional loans issued to expand production of agricultural goods exceeded 800 billion rubles, he said.

As reported, the Ministry of Agriculture said that, in 2023, exports of agricultural products totaled $45 billion versus $41.6 billion in 2022. It expects that upcoming additional calculations could make this figure even higher.
