IAEA makes another rotation at 4 Kiev-controlled NPPs - State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate

MOSCOW. Jan 30 (Interfax) - Permanent monitoring missions of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) have undergone rotation at four Kiev-controlled nuclear power plants, Ukrainian media said with the reference to the Ukrainian State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate.

"The 19th rotation of IAEA permanent monitoring mission experts was carried out at the Rovno, South Ukrainian and Khmelnitsky nuclear power plants in the middle of January 2024, alongside the 21st rotation at the Chernobyl NPP," the inspectorate said on Tuesday.

It noted that the IAEA permanent missions at Ukrainian nuclear power plants were established to monitor their safety and security.

As reported, the latest rotation at four nuclear power plants took place in early January 2024.
