Georgian Airways to begin direct flights between Batumi, Moscow in Apr
TBILISI. Jan 29 (Interfax) - Georgian Airways will begin direct flights between Batumi and Moscow on April 2, the airline said on its website on Monday.
Plane tickets will cost the equivalent of $300, and flights will be carried out three times a week to and from Moscow's Vnukovo Airport, it said.
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on May 15, 2023 to cancel visas for Georgian citizens visiting Russia and lift the ban on direct flights to Georgia that was imposed on Russian airlines in 2019.
