Putin, Lukashenko expected to attend 11th Russia-Belarus regions forum in Belarus in June

MINSK. Jan 25 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko are expected to attend the 11th Forum of Regions of Russia and Belarus, which will be held in June, Natalya Kochanova, speaker of the Council of the Republic of Belarus, the upper chamber of the Belarusian parliament, said.

"We are certain that the president of our country and the president of the Russian Federation will attend," Kochanova was quoted as saying on the Council of the Republic's Telegram channel.

The 11th Forum of Regions of Russia and Belarus will take place in three Belarusian cities - Polotsk, Novopolotsk and Vitebsk - in June. Vitebsk is expected to be the main venue of the events.
