Lamoda intends to open offline stores in over 20 Russian cities in 2024

KRASNODAR. Jan 25 (Interfax) - The Lamoda online platform plans to open Lamoda Sport offline stores in over 20 Russian cities in 2024, the company's press service told Interfax.

This week, Lamoda opened a store in Krasnodar, the first in the south of Russia. The company plans to open locations in most major cities in Krasnodar Territory this year.

As reported, development of the Lamoda Sport retail chain of sporting goods stores started in mid-December 2023 with its first two locations in Moscow and Mytishchi. It was reported that a store is planned in St. Petersburg soon.

The company previously announced plans to open approximately 300 stores within 3 years. Some of the stores will be located on the sites of closed Adidas outlets.

Lamoda is an online platform that operates in Russia and the CIS, specializing in the sale of clothing and shoes. The company was founded in 2011, and from 2014 to 20222, was part of the Global Fashion Group. Since December 2022, it has been owned by the owner of the Stockmann department store chain in the Russia, Yakov Panchenko, via JSC LM Holding.
