Ukraine reduces imports of coke, semicoke by 8.5% in 2023

MOSCOW. Jan 19 (Interfax) - Ukraine's imports of coke and semicoke fell 8.5% by volume to 328,697 tonnes and 25% by value to $129.472 million in 2023, Ukrainian media reported, citing statistics from the State Customs Service.

Ukraine's coke exports totaled 3,383 tonnes worth $787,000 in 2023, respectively 12.3% and 22.2% less than in 2022.

Ukraine exported coke only to Moldova, and imported 88.47% of this product from Poland, 7.72% from Columbia and 3.15% from the Czech Republic.
