Russia not to pay 2023 contribution to UN Economic Commission for Europe - govt decree

MOSCOW. Jan 17 (Interfax) - Russia refuses to pay its 2023 contribution to the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE).

The relevant government order was published on the official legal information website.

"To accept the Russian Foreign Ministry's proposal, which has been agreed with the Russian Finance Ministry, not to pay a contribution to the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe for 2023. The Russian Foreign Ministry is to inform the Secretariat of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe of the decision taken," the document signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin says.
