Development of bilateral relations emphasized at Putin's meeting with Russian, N. Korean FMs - Peskov

MOSCOW. Jan 17 (Interfax) - Bilateral relations topped the agenda of Russian President Vladimir Putin's meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and North Korean Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"They talked about bilateral relations in general and about the situation on the Korean Peninsula, and exchanged views on the most topical global affairs, while the main emphasis was placed specifically on the development of bilateral relations," Peskov told reporters.

"North Korea is a very important partner of ours, and we are aiming for the further development of our relations in all areas, including sensitive ones," Peskov said.
