Estonia not to extradite men of eligible age for mobilization in Ukraine

MOSCOW. Jan 15 (Interfax) - The Estonian government will not extradite Ukrainian men eligible for military service and residing in Estonia to Ukraine, Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas said.

"For our part, we will definitely do nothing to extradite those people. Ukraine should appeal to the people staying here and ask them to come back and help their fatherland," Ukrainian media quoted Kallas as saying in an interview with the Kiev Independent.

She said she discussed Ukrainian refugees with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.

Ukrainian men, who were given protection by the EU rules, are staying in Estonia legally, Kallas said.
