IAEA conducts another rotation at 4 NPPs controlled by Ukraine - inspectorate

MOSCOW. Jan 15 (Interfax) - The rotation of the permanent monitoring missions of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) was conducted at four nuclear power plants (NPPs) in Ukraine, Ukrainian media outlets said with a reference to the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine on Friday.

"The rotation of experts of the IAEA permanent monitoring missions was successfully conducted for 18th time at the Rovno, Southern Ukraine, and Khmelnitsky NPPs and for the 20th time at the Chernobyl NPP in January 2024," the inspectorate said.

The IAEA permanent missions were introduced to the Ukrainian NPPs to monitor their security during the crisis, it said.
