Armenian Security Council secretary meets with U.S., EU senior officials in Davos

YEREVAN. Jan 15 (Interfax) - Armenian Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan has discussed assistance provided to the country in ensuring security with representatives of the United States and the European Union.

"I met with U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs James O'Brien, Chief Foreign Policy Advisor to the President of the European Council Simon Mordue, Diplomatic Advisor to the President of the European Commission Fernando Guimaraes and Senior Foreign Policy Advisor to the President of the European Council Magdalena Grono," Grigoryan said on social media.

"The Armenia-EU and Armenia-U.S. partnership agendas, as well as the agenda of the EU and U.S. assistance aimed at promoting Armenia's independence, security, territorial integrity and democracy were discussed at the meeting," he said.

The meetings took place in Davos, Grigoryan said.
