Kazakhstan launches pilot online investment platform

ASTANA. Jan 11 (Interfax) - A pilot online investment platform has been launched in Kazakhstan to support investment projects, the government's press service said in a statement.

"This is a centralized information system designed to provide comprehensive support to investors. The project is aimed to improve investment attraction processes and to monitor the implementation of investment projects," Deputy Foreign Minister Nazira Nurbayeva is quoted as saying.

The platform will be available for entrepreneurs, government agencies, financial institutions and the quasi-public sector and will also provide standard government services to investors operating in Kazakhstan, according to the statement.
