World Bank forecasts Moldovan GDP growth of 4.2% in 2024

CHISINAU. Jan 10 (Interfax) - The World Bank confirmed its forecast for Moldova's economic growth of 4.2% in 2024 and 4.1% in 2025, the bank's January Global Economic Prospects said.

As reported, the World Bank predicted economic growth for Moldova in 2023 of 1.8%. The Moldovan government had forecast growth at 2.5%.

The government forecasts GDP growth in 2024 of 3.5%.
