Russia's agreement for avoidance of double taxation with Latvia, Denmark terminated - Russian Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW. Jan 9 (Interfax) - The Russian Foreign Ministry has reported terminating agreements on avoiding double taxation with Latvia and Denmark.

"The Treaty between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Latvian Republic for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Revenue and Capital Tax Evasion, signed in Moscow on December 20, 2010, was terminated on January 1, 2024," , the ministry said in a statement published on the official website of legal information.

"The Convention between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Kingdom of Denmark for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Revenue and Capital Tax Evasion, signed in Moscow on February 8, 1996, was terminated" also on January 1, 2024, the ministry said in another statement.
