Belorusneft's Russian division launches new gas pipeline

MINSK. Jan 9 (Interfax) - Yangpur, a Russian subsidiary of Belorusneft, has launched a new gas pipeline, the Belarusian state oil company reported on December 31.

"Oil company Yangpur put a new 7.3-km gas pipeline with diameter of 219 mm into operation today," Belorusneft said. The pipeline links the Rozhdestvenskaya structure with the UPG-3 gas treatment facility at the Metelnoye field.

"In future, this will make it possible to increase total gas production and sales through the network of PJSC Gazprom to 4 million cubic meters per day," the company said.

Yangpur represents Belorusneft on the Russian oil and gas market. The company's website said that it explores for and develops oil and gas fields at the Izvestinsky block in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District. Yangpur has also held the rights to the Yuzhno-Tydeottinsky block in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District since 2020.
