Armenia reforming its army, buying weapons from various states - Security Council secretary
YEREVAN. Jan 9 (Interfax) - Armenia is reforming its Armed Forces and is acquiring modern weapons from various countries, Armenian Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan said.
"We are reforming our army. We are willing to have modern, world-class standards and to buy state-of-the-art weapons to protect our territorial integrity, sovereignty and democracy. To this end, we continue cooperation with various countries," Grigoryan told Public Television.
"We have had [such cooperation] with Russia as well," he said.
