Azerbaijan delivers 11.8 bcm of gas to Europe in 2023 - energy minister

BAKU. Jan 9 (Interfax) - Supplies of Azerbaijani gas to Europe reached 11.8 bcm in 2023, Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov said on December 31.

As reported, Azerbaijan supplied 11.4 bcm of gas to Europe in 2022. Therefore, supplies increased by 3.5% in 2023.

December 31, 2023, marks three years since the beginning of supplies of Azerbaijani gas to Europe via the TAP pipeline.

"Over 31 bcm of Azerbaijani gas were supplied to Europe via TAP in this period. The amount of supplies to Europe under short and long-term contracts reached 11.8 bcm this year," Shahbazov wrote on a social network.
