Number of Ukrainian Nova Post offices, parcel terminals grows more than 20% in 2023

MOSCOW. Dec 29 (Interfax) - Ukraine's Nova Post Group opened 4,850 offices and parcel terminals in 2023, thus increasing their total number by 22.4% to 26,500, Ukrainian media said, citing the group press service.

Nova Post delivered a record amount of mail, over 400 million pieces, this year, up 10% from the pre-crisis year 2021, the press service said.

The deliveries stood at 2,012,940 on December 18, surpassing the record 1.96 million delivered on December 30, 2022, it said.

Additionally, the company opened two new terminals in Kiev and Odessa, the press service said.

"These are major automated sorting centers that allow us to maintain high delivery speeds in the face of growing cargo volumes," Nova Post CEO Alexander Bulba said.

Nova Post Group consists of Ukrainian and foreign companies, among them Nova Post, NP Logistics, the NovaPay payment system, and Nova Post Global.

The company reported 315 million deliveries last year.

In the first nine months of this year, Nova Post revenue grew 62.8% to 25,748.5 million hryvni, while net profit went up 74.2% to 3,208.1 million hryvni.
