Kiev, Chisinau agree to synchronize e-queueing systems for crossing borders

MOSCOW. Dec 28 (Interfax) - Ukrainian Agrarian Policy and Food Minister Nikolai Solsky and Moldovan Agriculture and Food Industry Minister Vladimir Bolea met via video link on Thursday to discuss the launch of an electronic queueing system on the Moldovan-Romanian border and its synchronization with the Ukrainian e-queueing system, Ukrainian media reported with reference to the Ukrainian Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry.

The parties believe this measure should help avoid a concentration of trucks in Moldova and expedite cargo transit shipments from Ukraine to Romania.

Solsky and Bolea agreed on facilitating cooperation between technical specialists from the two countries to speed up such synchronization.
