Rosneft shareholders accept interim dividend of 30.77 ruble per share

MOSCOW. Dec 28 (Interfax) - Rosneft shareholders voted at an extraordinary meeting held in absentia to accept an interim dividend of 30.77 rubles per share, the Russian oil company said.

The dividend record date is January 11, 2024.

Dividends will be paid to nominal shareholders and professional participants not later than January 25 and to others not later than February 15.

Rosneft's net profit to International Financial Reporting Standards was 652 billion rubles in H1 2023. The company's dividend policy is to pay 50% of net profit to IFRS twice a year.

The company has 10,598,177,817 issued shares with par value of 0.01 rubles. Rosneft's largest shareholders are state-owned JSC Rosneftegaz with a 40.4% stake, BP Russian Investments Limited with 19.75%, and Qatar's QH Oil Investments LLC with 18.46%. RN-NeftKapitalInvest holds a 9.6% stake and RN-Capital LLC holding has 0.76%.

BP said at the beginning of 2022 that it would divest its stake in Rosneft, but there have been no reports that it has actually done so.

Rosneft paid overall dividends of 38.36 rubles per share, including 20.39 rubles interim dividends, for 2022.
