Plans for Northern Sea Route hydrocarbon exploration and production projects unchanged - head of Rosnedra
MOSCOW. Dec 27 (Interfax) - Plans for Northern Sea Route hydrocarbon exploration and production projects remain unchanged, said Yevgeny Petrov, head of federal subsoil agency Rosnedra.
"According to the current documents for hydrocarbons, the plans also remain the same - 57 million tonnes. They are not altering. This is 20 million tonnes for oil, 4 million tonnes for condensate and 32 million tonnes for liquefied gas. That is, everything is going according to the 2030 scenario, we will ensure that the Northern Sea Route is fully utilized," Petrov said at a press conference.
Petrov also said sharp growth is expected for Arctic coal projects, which are also betting on the Northern Sea Route from the point of view of logistics.
